Future Lab is an integrated concept that both serves and epitomizes each phase in the life of a person. This holistic approach results in a variety of options for space and content that can only and exclusively be worked through using an interdisciplinary process. This project is a prototype to test new architecture and design strategies in response to New Banking with the interaction at the facility being experience-based not merely transaction-based. Future Lab is an atmospherically-charged and positive location where the people and their communication is the focus of interest. Information and interaction generate emotion and inspiration, the origins of every kind of creation and action. The space transforms into an area for the community where open creativity and activity of the employees and customers are welcomed. The resultant space is the fruitful source of an even better, more sustainable and thus more successful performance by the Erste Bank in the future.
