Located on the southern shoreline of picturesque lake Wörthersee near village Maria Wörth, Austria, this apartment house flows smoothly down a slightly inclining terrain towards the water level. On five floors, the resort houses 7 units and its shared amenities like a pool, sauna, fitness, and outdoor kitchen. The building carefully follows to the site´s topography and reflects the boundaries tapered shape, narrowing towards the middle, and expanding again to the lake. The staggered levels immersing into the landscape blend artificial and natural environment allowing a maximum of privacy. The extensive cantilevering terraces create canopied loggias allowing unlimited panoramic view of the lakeside scenery and the feeling of constant contact with surrounding nature. To further enhance the tranquil atmosphere each unit´s private outdoor zones are framed by green areas.
