INTERIOR DESIGN OF A PRIVATE LIVING SPACE IN VIENNA

  • Interior Architecture
  • Interior Design
  • Lighting Design

The micro-apartment in Vienna´s 1st district is designed as a representative space that offers the comfort and convenience of an impermanent home in only 50 square meters. A mirrored volume, incorporating a floor-to-ceiling, leather-clad sleeping, sanitary and storage area, exaggerates the compact flat by dissolving the box and creating the illusion of a larger space. Zoned by curtains with varying opacity, the living room features a multi-functional centerpiece serving as a cooking, gathering and socializing element. Another design feature is the unique marble flooring, cut from one single block, creating an infinity mirrored platform. High-quality materials and craftsmanship contribute to the organic, warm and sophisticated architectural setting.
